Alison Kilpack Joining Safe Harbor Films Leadership Team as Producing Partner

Safe Harbor Films, LLC, (SHF) is proud to announce that longtime contributor and organizational cornerstone, Alison Kilpack, has been named Producer and Producing Partner, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team.

Kilpack has been integral to SHF’s operations from the beginning, known for what SHF President Tony Angelo calls her ability to “keep things rolling.” Her appointment formalizes a role she has already been fulfilling, bringing structure, clarity, and creative support to a continually developing production company.

With a professional background spanning the airline industry, bookkeeping, project management, business ownership, and psychology, Kilpack brings a rare combination of operational precision and human-centered leadership. Her experience includes serving as office manager at Provo Municipal Airport, where she oversaw bookkeeping and accounting; implementing corporate marketing plans as a sales representative for Dorling Kindersley; and coordinating energy‑efficiency projects for nearly two decades, a role requiring meticulous attention to legal and technical detail, as well as managing employees and business-partner relationships.

Beyond her administrative and analytical strengths, Kilpack is also a seasoned creative. After being published in the cross‑stitch trade press, she founded A Smile In My Pocket, developing manufacturing processes, writing instructional materials, and building a four‑state retail network for her original primitive‑embroidery designs. Today, her work reaches customers in 35 states and four countries.

“Alison has a gift for balancing creativity with structure,” said Angelo. “She sees the big picture, understands people, and brings a level of organization that elevates every project we take on. I always ask one question, and a 'yes' gives me peace of mind: 'Is it Alison-approved?'”

Her contributions extend far beyond the office. A devoted mother and grandmother, Kilpack has spent years supporting youth programs as a wrestling team mom, Cub Scout Cubmaster, and church leader. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University, where she earned a University Scholar Scholarship.

As Producing Partner, Kilpack will continue to guide operations, support creative development, and help shape SHF’s expanding slate of projects.
